Ugnÿr
Ugnÿr was the last High Kâhl of the Emberg-Aegnir Bloc of the Leagues of Votann.[1]
A famed military leader of his League, when the Tyranid Hive Fleet Leviathan was encountered he led his Kin in their final battle, taking up a suit of Bastium Armour mysteriously created a century prior by their Ancestor Core. During the Fall of the Emberg-Aegnir Bloc, Ugnÿr and his Hearthguard, including the young Buri Aegnirssen, made their final stand in their Fane-Hold. Soon enough only Ugnÿr and Buri remained, when a gigantic Tyranid creature entered the chamber. Ugnÿr was impaled by the creature, while Buri was swallowed whole and managed to cut his way out.[1]
In the aftermath of the battle, Buri was the sole survivor of his League and took up Ugnÿr's armour for himself in his quest for vengeance. He also renamed his vessel Ugnÿr's Wrath in the High Kâhl's honour.[1]
