The Unbearable Gaze is a Gladius Class Frigate of the Deathwatch, which services in the fleet of Watch Fortress Eye of Octos.^[1b]

History

It was among the warships that Watch Captain Daox Glykas‎ brought with him when his Watch Company joined the forces of Inquisitor Athocles Van Roth.^[1b] The Inquisitor then used this force to defend himself as he sought to master using Baddkrasha's Crown on the Ork- and Tyranid-infested Maiden World Veloria. However, using the Xenos device drew numerous Ork warships to the Crown's location and Van Roth's forces were overrun.^[1a]
