Welcome to Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the [Lexicanum:Help help pages]. Again, welcome and have fun! Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 05:05, 16 October 2018 (MDT)

I see you removed my "</=" from the release date. That was an intentional entry as with the listed source of the article we only know it existed at that date - it might however already have been released before. I am open to suggestions to make such situations clearer than with my current formulation. Cheers. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 11:52, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Chordclaw
Hi. Please tell me what a source of the lore you used in this <https://lex.124811.xyz/mediawiki/index.php?title=Transonic_Weapon&diff=517469&oldid=436241> edit about the Cordclaw (you added no source). I also remember something about that piece of lore, but couldn't find the source. Not in the Codices, as I see it.--Darkelf77 (talk) 07:37, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

Redirects
During your many redirects, most of the pages you redirected themselves had many redirects that now are unacceptable double redirects. Please go through each page and redirect these to their new page or your redirects will have to be reverted due to the issues it’s causing in site organization.
Example: on Chaos Knight there are 12 redirects that need resolving due to your edits.
You can see what redirects exist for pages by clicking the page information. Thank you. Harriticus (talk) 16:53, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
Chaos Knight
In the name of articles when there are more than one word we often have both/all words with capital letters. So we use 'Space Marine', 'Battle Sister', 'Chaos Knight' etc. It is a "tradition-rule". Please don't rename the names of articles as you did with 'Chaos Knight' because there are literally MANY articles with two or more words in their names. SEE BELOW, PLS v--Darkelf77 (talk) 09:25, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
- Quindraco, sorry, but I will use your page for discussion. I hope you don't mind? Basically, I am asking for help from other Adepts here. As I see, we now have 'Plasma weapon' with the second word in lowercase. So what is the current rule for how and why we must create or rename articles? I am strongly sure that it should be 'Space Marine', not 'Space marine'. On the other hand, I am not sure whether it should be 'Plasma Weapon' or 'Plasma weapon'. Have we discussed this anywhere yet? Again, sorry Quindraco for using your talk page, but this is an important matter — I see you rename a lot of articles and I started to rename them back, but now I am not sure which method is better.--Darkelf77 (talk)
Renaming articles
Hello, please do not continue to rename any articles, thank you. This is an issue that will have to be formally addressed in a Manual of style before any such changes are allowed to be made. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 12:45, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
- And in any case if articles have to be renamed that must be done by an admin by moving the article to its new name, not by copy/pasting into new articles, that destroys the whole article history and makes reverting changes impossible. I.e. article name changing has always to be requested from an admin. Thank you for your attention. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 12:50, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
Template Style Changes
Hello! I noticed that you've been making adjustments to several navboxes to fix their widths (yay), however you've thrown off their css and they've defaulted their title and groups (boo). I (a fellow user) am unable to see the which templates you've adjusted, so I instead implore you to go back over your edit history and fix the CSS. Here's mediawiki's Navbox documentation.
I also noticed you were renaming namespace prefix of images, such as on Ranger. You don't have to do that, both image: and file: are supported synonyms. (yay) Cheers! --Zap1000x (talk) 18:54, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
- Zap1000x: I'm confused by several elements of your post. Could you please point me at an example "navbox" which has "defaulted its title and groups" so I can fix it? I should emphasize that I don't have admin access, so I can't edit CSS files; I am limited to what can be done via styles on those elements we can employ with styles, such as some parts of tables, divs, and spans.
- I have not (at least, not recently) edited any templates employing navboxes. Do you mean when I modified templates which employed tables that had the navtemplate class (including adding the navtemplate class to tables that should have had it but did not), which did not employ navboxes before or after my edit? If navboxes work on Lexicanum, it might actually be the case that we'd be better off using them than the current method of each and every nav table being specified using bespoke table code.
- I have no idea what you mean by "defaulting their title and groups".
- The two that I had notifications on which now display their default colors (purple) were Template:MajorCraftworld and Template:Eldar Corsairs, I should have linked those previously.
- I'm actually in the wrong here, looking back on it. I assumed we used Navboxes for our navigation templates, as that has been the case on the wikis I had edited previously. Apologies for the confusion and incorrect documentation. In that paradigm (which you would not have been familiar with so, again, apologies) Title is simply the top perameter of a template, and Groups are the leftmost labels for rows, which are the misbehaving parts of these templates.--Zap1000x (talk) 00:45, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- Zap1000x I can probably fix whatever you have in mind, then. Do you mean the background color? What do you think it should be? Most of these nav templates use a distinct background color for the column/row titles as opposed to the content, but I'm not sure what the ideal colors here are.Quindraco (talk) 15:25, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
Portal Templates
Hello. A while back you edited the portal linkbox template and now they are no longer standard widths. Is there a way to standardise their widths again? At least on desktop, it makes articles with multiple portals (such as this one and this one for examples) and has also resulted in the portals within character boxes (such as on Mortarion and Magnus) being relegated to the corner of the box rather than filling the box's width.
