Veerstal Crusade

The Veerstal Crusade is a Crusade of the Black Templars.[1]
During the Era Indomitus, the Crusade deployed to the Agri-World of Gorvos to crush a Chaos Cult uprising in the port city of Buran. For seven days, the Black Templars smashed through Buran's district and each night they lit up the sky with the pyres of burnt Heretics. By the time the crusade left, Buran was a mile-wide cinder. This was seen as a brand from orbit to mark the world as a warning to the enemies of the Emperor.[1]
