Vespasius
Vespasius is a Jump Pack Assault Intercessor of the Ultramarines Second Company and leader of Combat Squad Talasa.[1a]

Biography
Onboard the Battle Barge Resilient, After Lieutenant Demetrian Titus devised a plan to Assassinate the Hive Tyrant and find a way to remove the Vox Jamming Signal that is jamming any Vox Communication within the area of the Asthropathic Relay. Vespasius and his squad is assigned by Titus to find and kill the Hive Tyrant that is leading the Tyranid swarm on Averax while being monitored by Captain Acheran.[1a][1b]
Decapitation
While en route to their landing zone Captain Acheran would debrief them on the plan on how to kill the Hive Tyrant. Vespasius must lead his squad and head to a nearby bridge held by the Cadian 8th as the Hive Tyrant is moving towards that position and plant explosives on one of the Bridge Tower and use the structures collapse to kill the Hive Tyrant. Vespasius and his men fought their through countless hordes of the Tyranids until they finally reached the Bridge Tower. Once they arrived and entered the building, Captain Acheran ordered Vespacius to plant explosives on weak points found within the area to make sure the building fully collapses on top of the Hive Tyrant. Once all explosives are in place Vespasius and his brothers head to the bridge and assist the Cadian 8th.
Arriving on the Bridge, one of the Cadian Lieutenant welcomed Vespasius and his squad as they're happy to see Ultramarines helping them. Vespasius and along with Acheran debriefed the Cadian Lieutenant regarding the Hive Tyrant is about to arrive on the bridge and they must hold the line until Hive Tyrant appeared and use the Explosives to kill it with Debris. Vespasius lead his brothers and the Cadians in pushing back the Tyranids hordes as they needed the Hive Tyrant to stay on their designated kill zone. Once The Hive Tyrant made his appearance, Vespacius activated the Explosives and destroyed the Bride Tower.
Due to explosives a Giant Statue collapsed on top of the Hive Tyrant and Talasa cheered with the Cadians as they assumed the Hive is dead. Their victory is short lived when Titus and Acheran reported that Hive Tyrant is still alive as the Tyranid Swarm did not become feral or dies once their Leader Beast is dead. Vespasius and his brothers continued to hunt down the beast and frantically search for its location until they saw it survived a collapsing Statue. They pushed forward in hunting the Hive Tyrant down while Tyranid reinforcements are actively intercepting them to prevent the Hive Tyrant's assassination. Eventually Vespasius and his squad cornered the Hive Tyrant in a destroyed infastructure and immediately fight the beast. Combat Squad Talasa successfully killed the Hive Tyrant and with the Tyranid beast dead Majority of the Swarm either died to the Synapse connection is destroyed or gone feral. Vespasius and his brothers contacted Titus and report their mission success and extracted back to the Resilient.[1a]
Fall of Atreus
Several days into the Demerium Campaign, Titus ordered Vespacius to lead his squad Talasa to find the Sword of Atreus and use the Battle Barge to ram it into the Thousand Sons Silver Tower. Titus instructed Vespacius to head towards the Mechanicus Compound as the Battle Barge is being held their by Artisan Balthazar and several Enginseers as they want to restore the Ancient Vessel. Balthazar contacted Vespacius as the Thousand Sons are attacking their facility and needed help in protecting the Facility. While enroute to the Mechanicus Compound, Vespacius and his brothers encountered Redemptor Dreadnought Brother Valtus being under attacked by the Thousand Sons and they intervined to save their brother. After defeating the Thousand Sons troops, Valtus would aid their brother in opening the gate as they take a shortcut towards the Mechanicus Compound. Fighting through countless waves of Thousand Sons troops and they finally arrived on the Mechanicus Compound and found out that Valtus arrived just in time as the Thousand Sons are besieging it. Vespacius and his brothers including Valtus managed to kill all the besiegers and entered the Compount to meet with Artisan Balthazar.
Inside they finally told the truth to Balthazar that they will commandeer the Sword of Atreus and use it to destroy the Silver Tower. After Captain Acheran threatened the Artistan, he finally relented and help the Ultramarines use the ship to destroy the Silver Tower. With Balthazar's help, Vespacius and his brothers start using a nearby Fusion Battery to power up the nearby Power Plants in order to have enough power to activate the Sword of Atreus. Once the Power Plants are restored, Vespacius and his brothers escorted the Fusion Battery into the Battle Barge while being under fire from the Thousand Sons reinforcements. After the Engines are powered up, Vespacius activated it and sent the ship to ram towards the silver tower while Artisan Balthazar lament at the lost of the Battle Barge.[1a]
Obelisk
After Combat Squads Talasa and Veridian finished their objectives, Lieutenant Titus and Captain Acheran would contact them again and issued new orders on finding the Obelisk Control Console and shut down the shields protecting the Obelisk. Vespacius and his brothers starts heading out to the Control Console location while being under attacked by the Thousand Sons Troops. Along the way they found a Tomb and use it to move towards the Control Console. Issues arises when the Tomb is filled with Chaos Corruption and the only way to move safely is by using Holy Relics. Eventually the squad manage to escape the tomb unscathed and arrived on the Obelisk Control Console on time. The Control Console is guarded by a Thousand Sons Sorcerer and Thousand Sons reinforcements. Despite being outnumbered, Combat Squad Talasa and Veridian managed to overpower their foes and deactivate the Control Console. After completing their objectives, Squad Leaders Vespasius and Decimus would report their success to Titus and Acheran. Both Squads regrouped with Battle Brothers from the Second Company and continued fighting the Thousand Sons of Demerium.[1a]
Victory over the Thousand Sons
After the defeat of the Thousand sons on Demerium, Vespasius would attend Liuetenant Demetrian Titus ceremony as he is awarded with the Laurels of Victory given to him by their Chapter Master Marneus Augustus Calgar. After the Ceremony Vespasius would continue his duties onboard the Battle Barge Resilient.[1a]
