Vorek Gnarlfist

Vorek Gnarlfist was a Wolf Lord of the Space Wolves, who commanded the Ironwolves Great Company following the deaths of Egil Iron Wolf and Orven Highfell. He decided to keep the sigil of the Iron Wolf to honour his predecessors' acts of extreme valour and the Ironwolves' unbroken tenacity.[1]
In M42 Gnarlfist was killed fighting against the Thousand Sons of Magnus the Red during the Invasion of the Stygius Sector. His successor, Torval Wyrdbane, exacted vengeance upon the sons of Magnus and then renamed the Ironwolves the Duskwolves.[2]
