War of Flies

The War of Flies was a Nurgle campaign in Ultramar, during the earlier part of the Plague Wars. The War encompassed many Death Guard actions, including attacks on Talassar, Iax, Circe, and Laphis. These actions were repelled by forces of the Ultramarines and the Ultramar Defence Auxilia, but resulted in a war of attrition that was only the prelude to the Creeping Death Offensive[1]
