Below is a helpful list of things to check/add to when you have discovered a new piece of information and wish to add it to the Lexicanum.
- Main Article - Firstly, does the information warrant its own article? If it's a character, world, or other distinguished proper noun, it probably does. Otherwise, add the information to a related article, as a subcategory, e.g. a new variant of boltgun would go in the Boltgun article.
- Related articles - Especially for a historical event or world, this piece of information might be part of something greater, and need to be referenced in a wider article.
- Lists - Add the information to any lists that it might be relevant to, e.g. a new Ultramarine of the 2nd Company should be added to the Known Elements of the Ultramarines 2nd Company page.
- Timeline - If the information contains any dates, for example M41, then it should be added to the relevant timeline article in the appropriate place.
