Wrath's Fall was once an Adeptus Mechanicus Knight World, in the galactic northern reaches of Segmentum Solar, which held several Knight Houses.[1]
History
The most prominent among them was Irostus Xo, whose citadel held ancient technologies. As a result of this, the Forge World of Mars had a growing presence on Wrath's Fall and the Knight House's Forge Master was their prime conduit to access Irostus Xo's artefacts. However, in the wake of the Great Rift's creation, the Knight World was overrun by an armada of heretics and mutants.[1]
Wrath's Fall was soon doomed, as its Knight Houses were unable to defeat the invaders and a besieged Imperium could not answer their requests for aid in time. However, before the Knight World and its Houses were lost, Irostus Xo's Forge Master, Klydia Irosta, was able to escape to Mars aboard one of its Orbital Conveyors. Senior members of the Forge World's Tech-Priests on Wrath's Fall fled with her, along with some of Irostus Xo's servants and several pieces of the House's technologies, which had been hastily embedded within Klydia's Knight Defender.[1]
