Wrath of Frost
The Wrath of Frost is a Strike Cruiser in the Space Wolves Chapter.[1a]
History
In M42, it was commanded by the Wolf Lord Agnar Stonefrost, when the Strike Cruiser received a plea for aid. The message came from an Astra Militarum Cadian 137th outpost on the Imperial world Xandur Secundus, which was commanded by the Kasrkin Lieutenant, Mordrana. She stated that the world was nearly overrun by Orks and her outpost, the Bastion Resolute, would soon be lost if reinforcements did not arrive soon.[1b] Stonefrost saw this as a perfect opportunity to test his Great Company's mettle and ordered the Wrath of Frost to change course to the besieged world.[1a] Thanks to their efforts, the Bastion was saved[1b] and an ensuing battle led to the death of Warboss Gitcrusha. The losses the Orks suffered, also greatly reduced the Xenos' hold on Xandur Secundus.[1c]
