The 3rd Company of the Ultramarines, known as the Scourge of Xenos, has won notable glories during the Tyrannic Wars.[1]

Overview
The 3rd Company has long been given the duty with confronting the most dangerous monsters the Imperium has to face. To this end, the company has long emphasized anti-Xenos combat techniques and is often supported by 1st Company Terminators to lead operations against Space Hulks. The 3rd also makes prodigious use of Aggressor Squads and Centurion Warsuits, typically arming both for close-range battle for use against xenos. Warriors of the 3rd routinely see action in the Deathwatch. Those that fight against the Tyranids and survive are almost always given the title of Tyrannic War Veteran.[1]
Company Banner
The 3rd Company has two Standards, a newer Standard featuring an impaled Tyranid head created to honour the Company’s victories in the First Tyrannic War, and an older Relic Standard marked with icons and badges from the Company’s history.
Both Standards have been borne by Sergeant Ortegius, a member of Command Squad Fabian.
