The Key to Shaa-Dom was a Dark Eldar artefact which was required by Archon Nyos Yllithian of the Kabal of the White Flames to learn the means to resurrect Archon El'Uriaq by locating Angevere the handmaiden of the concubine of the ancient archon within Shaa Dom.[2]
History
The Key was entrusted by Asdrubael Vect to the vault of Biel-Tanigh and the Guardians of Biel-Tanigh after the destruction of Shaa-Dom.[1]
In M41 Archon Nyos Yllithian sent Vyriadh and Xyril, a pair-bond of Half-born grown by the Haemonculus Syiin, into Biel-Tanigh to collect an opalite jewel, the Key to Shaa-Dom which lay within a two-towered black metal citadel. The two were able to heist the opalite gem but Vyriadh perished and Xyril apathetically abandoned the jewel within the Webway[1] as their soul was drawn through a tear into the Warp.[1]
The Key would be later found by the crew of the Skeinrunner, themselves exiting Biel-Tanigh having previously delivered the Jade Scarab of Neimenh, and by them brought into Commorragh – the whole crew killed in by eachother's betrayal upon the journey.[3] Where their ship lay amongst the Ur-Ghuls which ended it's travel,[3] it was retrieved by Yllithan.[2]
