The 3rd Company of the Imperial Fists, known as The Sentinels of Terra, are one of the Chapter's Battle Companies.[1][2a][2b]
Overview
The 3rd Company is known for their flexibility in battle compared to the 1st and 2nd Companies. However, especially over the course of the 41st millennium, the company has suffered horrific casualties, being brought to the brink of total destruction on multiple occasions.[2b]

- 969.M41: The Invasion of Taladorn.[2c]
- 994.M41: The Triumph at Victorix.[6]
- 999.M41: The Siege of Hydra Cordatus.[3]
- 999.M41: The Battle of the Phalanx.[2c]
- 999.M41: Under orders of Lord Commander Guilliman, Captain Tor Garadon brought the Phalanx to Terra to safeguard the planet while Guilliman was away waging the Indomitus Crusade. The 3rd company of the Imperial Fists, led by Garadon, deployed on Terra to help reestablish order on the planet following the Sack of the Lion's Gate. The Fists worked closely with the Adeptus Custodes against Chaos Cults such as The Splintered. They later helped put down the Hexarchy's coup, during which they battled the conspirators' Minotaurs allies.[5b]
- M42: The defense of the Cardinal World of Almace from the Word Bearers alongside the Raven Guard and White Scars.[8]
- Date Unknown, Era Indomitus: Captain Tor Garadon and Lieutenant Caras lead the 3rd Company in the assault of the Fortress Perditum on Hanorio V.[2c]
