A Mining World is a sub-classification of civilized world, devoted to industry. These planets possess huge mineral wealth to be exploited.
Mining Worlds include:
- Deliverance - home of the Raven Guard
- Guryan - a planet in the western galactic area which rebelled against the tyrannical rule of Cardinal Bucharis
- Rhanda - the first world Bucharis conquered, allowing him to build his gigantic Cardinal Palace
- Medusa V - the centre of the 2006 global campaign and near to Van Grothe's Rapidity
- Taros - A former Imperial world where the Tau defeated an Imperial army with local support
- Piscina IV - An Imperial world famous for a great battle between the Orks and the Dark Angels
