Breeding Worlds are Adeptus Astartes Recruiting Worlds, that have been populated by Space Marine Chapters with the strongest and healthiest Human specimens they can find from other worlds.[1]
Description
This is done when the Chapters can not reliably recruit Aspirants from suitable worlds, due to reasons such as scarcity or that they are located too far from the Chapters' Adeptus Astartes Homeworlds. Once a Breeding World has been established, its population is charged with giving birth to future generations of Aspirants for their Chapters to recruit from.[1]
Chapters known to use Breeding Worlds
- Death Spectres - The Chapter makes use of several Breeding Worlds, which are located near their Homeworld Occludus.[1]
