The Edification Corps are political officers of T'au Empire.[1a]
History
When O'Ryn disobeyed a direct order from the hologram of Aun'Va to reinforce the frontline on Junica, the Edification Corps was sent to apprehend her entire command.[1b] By the time the Edification Corps fleet arrived, O'Ryn and those Fire Warriors loyal to her had already defected to the Farsight Enclaves, and the Edification Corps sequestered everyone who witnessed O'Ryn's treason and reassigned and split up the remaining cadres.[1b]
The Edification Corps suppressed information about the Daemonic attack on the T'au of the Fourth Sphere of Expansion while travelling through the Immaterium from those of the Fifth Sphere of Expansion.[1a][2] Many Charpactin were drafted into the growing Edification Corps following their meeting with the Water Caste.[1b]
