The Tau are a relatively new race on the Eastern Fringe of the galaxy. Unlike the Imperium, they have a full understanding of their technology, and are open to innovation. Their minds are not adjusted to the Warp, and can barely sense its presence. Having little to no 'soul' in the warp, the Tau have no psychic abilities and no attraction for demons and other creatures of the warp. They also do not yet understand travel through the Warp.
