Ahdgifa
Ahdgifa is a Lady of House Griffith and pilot of the Knight Errant Gauntlet of Blood. She is a fearsome and skilled duellist, who serves in the Dragonsplice Lance with her Bondswoman Vahaera.[1]
History
The lance is among the Imperium's forces that are defending Fortress 23-Alphus from a Tyranid invasion. During the course of the battle, the Dragonsplice began hunting down a Winged Hive Tyrant that had massacred hundreds of Imperial forces. Among the slain was the world's Imperial Commander; the lance's leader, Oderik Griffith, vowed to her that the Dragonsplice would kill the beast. Their hunt for the Tyrant led them to a canyon, where they found a Tyranid swarm. Ahdgifa considered these foes beneath her and asked Oderik if she could avoid dirtying her blade with such meagre fare. He agreed, but the situation quickly changed when three Carnifexes and the Winged Hive Tyrant they sought appeared. As the battle between them began, the Dragonsplice's Bondsmen dealt with the Tyranid swarm, while Ahdgifa and the lance's other Nobles fought the Carnifexes. Oderik meanwhile, charged directly towards the Tyrant.[1]
