Amon Cull
Amon Cull, the Prince of Thorns, was a Chaos Lord of the Night Lords.[1a]
As a child, Amon was adopted by the noble House Cull on Hive Apraxis on Savlar. As a child, his world was invaded by Night Lords and during the chaos Amon was overcome by Daemonic voices in his head and slaughtered his family. Afterwards, he was taken and inducted into the Night Lords himself.[1a]
As a warband leader alongside the Sorcerer Shadraith, Cull and his warband planned to capture Mika Doren Skell, a young Psyker on Zartak, and use him as a vessel in order to summon their Daemonic master, Bar'ghul.[1a] During the invasion of Zartak, Cull and his warband come into battle with the Carcharodons 3rd Company under Bail Sharr and Chief Librarian Te Kahurangi. In the end, Cull and Shadraith are successful in capturing Skell as well as Chief Librarian Te and begin their ritual in Zartak's Arbites Precinct-Fortress.[1b] However despite victory being close at hand, Cull interrupts the ritual when he senses the time is right to betray and kill Shadraith in order to eliminate a potential rival.[1c] This allows Skell to break free with Te's help, and he deactivates the Fortresses Void Shields which allows the Carcharodons under Sharr to teleport inside. In the subsequent battle, Cull incapacitates Sharr but is crushed by debris unleashed by Te Kahurangi.[1d]
