Bauhin
Bauhin is the Company Commander of the 24th Ventrillian Nobles Vanguard forces[1b] and the second in command to the Regiment's Commander, Stromfjord.[1d]
History
The 24th are among the Imperium's forces, that are defending Montar VII from an Ork invasion. However during the course of the battle there, an attack[1a] by the Goffs Warboss Skogrin[1b] separated the 24th from the Imperium's main military formation. Skogrin's horde then pursued the Regiment and the 24th's Company Commander, Stromfjord, led them to seek refuge at the Grox farm of the Imperial citizen Ortan Glazer.[1a] Skogrin's horde attacked shortly afterwards,[1b] and while he was new to the Regiment, Bauhin commanded its Guardsmen well[1c] and was protected by his Ogryn Bodyguard and Colour Sergeant Brawn.[1b] Though the Orks attacked the farm in waves throughout the battle, the Ventrillians were able to kill so many of them, that the Warboss retreated from the farm. Afterwards, Bauhin found the wounded Stromfjord amongst the dead and told the commander the state the battered 24th Regiment was in, as they sought out a medic.[1d]
