Blood Wraith
A Blood Wraith is a form of a Daemon.[1]
Formed from the ritualistic combination of a daemon and a human victim. The daemon quickly assumes control of the body, using it as a means to commit murder and mayhem wherever they roam. They are not mindless and can lie in wait, but the urge to kill eventually takes every one of them. They are known to move through the warp using blood pools and heal themselves in the spilled blood of their foes. They can maintain a human-looking appearance for a time, however aggressive action will result in their daemonic form being revealed.[1]
It should be noted the possession does not have to be ritualistic to be successful. A blood wraith can and will physically attack a victim, flooding it through it's sensory receptors and fully taking it over within minutes. They are considered highly threatening daemon by the Inquisition[1]
