Bolaraphon
Bolaraphon was a Warsmith of the Iron Warriors.[1a]
History
At one point, Bolaraphon was the Lord of the Dru'Kashyl, a fortified network of asteroids accompanied by a fleet of several dozen warships. However, at the onset of the Noctis Aeterna, the Dru'Kashyl was devastated by the tides of the Warp as the Great Rift opened. Though Bolaraphon and his warband were able to escape aboard the Damnatio Memorae, the rest of the fleet and the asteroid belt were engulfed by the Warp Storm and lost.[1a]
Later Bolaraphon hatched an ambitious plan to kill the resurrected Roboute Guilliman. He invaded the world of Quradim, overwhelming its Genesis Chapter defenders and securing a cache of Virus Bombs. However Indomitus Crusade forces consisting of Ultramarines Chaplain Helios arrived, and soon after them a large crusade fleet led personally by Guilliman.[1b] As the Ultramarines destroyed the Damnatio Memorae, Bolaraphon hoped to lure Guilliman to Quradim and detonate the virus bombs. Bolaraphon was seemingly defeated by Helios.[1c]
However Bolaraphon was able to survive and comes across a single virus bomb warhead, which he is able to detonate as a last sacrificial act of betrayal, though Guilliman was able to escape before it engulfed the planet.[1d]
