The Damnatio Memorae was a warship in service with an Iron Warriors warband led by Warsmith Bolaraphon.[1a]

Overview
The ship was ruled by Hyzra, an Adept of the Dark Mechanicus. Although Bolaraphon commanded the warband, he did not technically control the Damnatio Memorae, as Hyzra had effectively wired herself into the vessel in such a way that, if she died, the ship would self-destruct.[1c] The two therefore operated under an uneasy truce, with sections of the ship reserved for the Iron Warriors' use.[1a]
History
At one time, Bolaraphon controlled a fortified network of asteroids known as the Dru'Kashyl, supported by a fleet of warships (including the Damnatio Memorae). The Dru'Kashyl was swallowed by the opening of the Great Rift as it spread across the galaxy, with the Damnatio Memorae the only surviving vessel.[1a]
Sometime later, Bolaraphon used the Damnatio Memorae to launch an invasion of a nearby, suitable planet to replenish the warband's supplies.[1b] However in the subsequent battle, the vessel was destroyed by an Ultramarines-led fleet under Roboute Guilliman.[1d]
