Constance Margrave

Constance Margrave is the current Lord Moebian and ruler of Atoma Prime and the Moebian Domain.[1a]

Overview
Holding court atop the High Hive spires crowning Hive Tertium, Lord Margrave is the appointed representative of the High Lords of Terra. He acts as a feudal lord, dividing up authority over parts of the Moebian Domain and hive administration to those loyal to him. To maintain supremacy, he often pits these individuals against one another to prevent anyone from gaining enough power to rival his rule.[1a] Those who know of Tertium politics know of Lord Margrave as a tyrant who will crush any who stand in his way or pose a threat to his power.[3]
Most noble houses of Tertium fund their own personal army. Lord Margrave's is known as the Graven Elite and bear ornately fashioned armour and weapons. Lord Margrave also funds the Tertium Magistratum Enforcers, the law-keeping force that quells riots throughout Hive Tertium and keeps watch for any signs of sedition, cults, and heresy.[1a]
War for Tertium
Early on in the war for Tertium, Coldiron Stack fell quickly to the Moebian 6th stationed throughout the district. Lord Margrave ordered a swift counterstrike to retake the district, despite growing civilian unrest. A collection of two dozen guardsmen were sent through the only entrance to the district, a railway controlled by the traitor occupants. They were easily decimated by the 6th in the fortified district by sending a train full of poxwalkers careening down the tracks and crashing into the loyalist forces.[2]
The Hourglass is an abandoned naval depot spire on the outskirts of the hive and its disenfranchised citizens were easily swayed to join the heretics. Despite efforts to seal off the Hourglass, Lord Margrave wishes to reclaim the zone, even if there are other places to claim that are of greater value.[1b]
