Dagger of Inwuit
Dagger of Inwuit is a Thunderhawk found aboard the Imperial Fists chapter Gladius-class frigate the Obdurate in M42.[1a][1c]
For at least 3 centuries the frigate laid crashed upon Ikaneos-Alpha's surface, dead and abandoned.[1b] The forward flight deck held the remarkably intact Thunderhawk Dagger of Inwuit, still magnetically locked to the deck. It'd remain so until the early few years after the Great Rift's opening. It was salvaged and used as a means of escape from the Death World's surface by Explorator Sherax and her surviving expeditionary forces after an Aeldari ambush. Their repair efforts were successful and the tech-priests, skitarii, and Vostroyan guardsmen were able to return to the explorator's also heavily damaged Ark Mechanicus vessel, the Peregrinus.[1c]
