Federak
Federak was a Vox-officer of the Imperial Guard who was killed during the Exterminatus of Sepus Prime.[1]

History
By the end of the Chaos insurrection on Sepus Prime, Federak was the vox-officer of Lieutenant Sorov's unit. Federak received the co-ordinates of a bombed-out gun emplacement that the insurrectionist Governor Narbo's shuttle was due to fly over, from loyalist pilot Gorny, who had infiltrated Narbo's inner circle.[1]
While most of the regiment pushed to take the civitate, they moved into position to ambush Narbo's Aquila Lander, in an attempt to fragment the insurrectionist forces. Sorov got Federak to contact Sergeant Kapek whose force was under attack at Tadmor Ridge, to get him to hold their position while they waited for the Lander to appear. When it did, it was shot down, but Narbo survived and transformed into a Chaos Spawn, killing everyone except Federak, Sorov, and Sanctioned Psyker Glutt who managed to destroy the Spawn.[1]
Sorov ordered Federak to broadcast the Governor's death to the insurrectionists, which he announced on every channel. Sorov asked Federak to contact Sergeant Baranov in the barracks, but heard from Baranov that despite Narbo's death Commander Ortegal had ordered the planet to be Virus Bombed, including all Imperial Guard regiments stationed there. Federak was killed during the Virus Bombing that followed.[1]
Description
Federak was wiry and short, with the slabby, knocked-about face of a prize fighter.[1]

- Lieutenant Sorov said to his unit "you might even get off this rancid planet", implying that their regiment was not from Sepus Prime.[1]
