Korbol

Korbol was an Imperial Guard trooper who was killed during the Chaos insurrection on Sepus Prime.^[1]

History

By the end of the Chaos insurrection on Sepus Prime, Korbol was part of Lieutenant Sorov's unit. While most of the regiment pushed to take the civitate, they waited to ambush insurrectionist Governor Narbo's Aquila Lander, in an attempt to fragment the insurrectionist forces. Korbol was assigned to be a lookout for the Lander.^[1]

When the Lander appeared, they successfully shot it down. Narbo survived the crash, and transformed into a Chaos Spawn, which killed the entire unit, except for Sorov, Vox-officer Federak, and Sanctioned Psyker Glutt.^[1]

Notes

• While Korbol is not specifically stated to have been killed by the Chaos Spawn that Narbo transformed into, all of Sorov's unit were killed by it, except for Sorov, Federak, and Glutt.^[1]
• Lieutenant Sorov said to his unit "you might even get off this rancid planet", implying that their regiment was not from Sepus Prime.^[1]
