Biography
The Rebel Lady
Lady Credo emerged from the wastes a few years ago and has been uniting the Fallen Houses and fostering rebellion against Lord Helmawr, expertly manipulating others to achieve her goals.[1b] Her husband, Constantine Credo, was nearly penniless when they met, living beneath a tavern in Two Tunnels; he fell under her influence and handed over control of his house to her, joining her rebel forces. House Credo itself was hardly notable, as it was a lost branch of House Orlund which had only briefly enjoyed prominence before being absorbed by House Orlock.[2b]
Few who encountered the rebel Lady Credo saw her as more than just another of the many dispossessed nobles of Necromunda.[2b] Rumoured to be of noble descent, possibly even one of Helmawr’s children or from an ancient bloodline, she commands significant power and respect.[1b]
The Credo Rebellion
For decades, Lady Credo and her husband traversed the hive world, securing oaths and promises from rebels, criminals, and outland gangs, until she commanded a substantial army. When the Great Darkness fell and Lord Helmawr was gravely wounded, Lady Credo seized her opportunity. The Credo rebellion spread across Necromunda, rallying enemies of House Helmawr from the discarded nobility in hive spires and outland cities.[2b]

Alliance with House Escher
Lady Credo struck an alliance with the Queen of House Escher, Adina. Stating that she knew her ancestor, Vhoadycia, and swore an oath to her a long time ago, she opened a secret compartment hidden in the throne and revealed a hidden gene-locked canister. Requiring the genetic imprint of both Lady Credo and Adina to be opened, it containing a parchment bearing the marks of House Escher, House Helmawr, and a Seven-Pointed Star. Credo urged her to abandon her current allegiances and restore the Blades to their former glory, promising her control over Necromunda.[2a]
Capture of Cinderak City
Amid the infighting and confusion, Lady Credo’s supporters chipped away at House Helmawr's control by killing their agents and severing their connections to the hives beyond the Palanite Cluster and the outland industries.[2b] The capture of Cinderak City by Lady Credo’s army and her Escher allies marked a significant turning point against House Helmawr’s dominance.[3a]

Using the Prophet
Upon learning that the Prophet of Redemption sought to awaken the "Lost Saint" of the Redemption Cult, Credo capitalized on the situation, aiming to use the Great Pilgrimage against her enemies. She sent agents across Necromunda to spread the word of the Lost Saint, feeding the hysteria that gripped the world after the Great Darkness.[3b]
Release of Ozostium Aranthus
Leading her fighters into the vaults of the Cathedral of the Emperor Deified in Hive Temenos, Lady Credo confronted Servalen, around the coffin of Ozostium Aranthus. Despite Credo’s advanced bionics and power blade, they were evenly matched due to Servalen's determination. Credo, unsettled by Servalen's soulless presence, often retreated when they got too close.[3c]
Eventually, the seals of the coffin broke, and Ozostium Aranthus was set free, putting an end to all confrontation within the tomb. Lady Credo then stood before her master, expressing pure adoration. Credo assured him that her agents were preparing Necromunda for his ascension but cautioned that they must move carefully to avoid old enemies. Ozostium dismissed the concerns, confident in the fulfillment of the Heptagonian Prophecy and the restoration of the trueborn of Aranthus, which would end the line of Helmawr.[3d]
Zalktraa Prison Break
Lady Credo was also behind a daring prison break from the Zalktraa penal hive. Aided by a heavily armed cadre of rogue Van Saar, the rebel lord fought her way into the depths of the floating hive city, defeating prison guards to free Prisoner UD-414 from her cell.[4]
Skills
Lady Credo is a skilled warrior, adept with a power sabre and possessing exceptional speed and resilience, likely due to advanced bio-mechanical implants or genetic enhancements. She is often accompanied by two custom servo-skulls, Sinestus and Dexterus, which provide her with superior battlefield awareness and the ability to locate hidden enemies.[1b]
