Lord of Poxes
Lords of Poxes are Chaos Lords in the Death Guard Traitor Legion, who have adopted one of its Mantles of Corruption. They wear Miasmic Turbines, which emit a fog of corrosive vapor that seeks out foes to infect.[1]
Description
Those who bare the title of Lord of Poxes are vectors are airborne contagion who emit clouds of disease and corrosion wherever they go. These serve to not only screen the advance of the Death Guard in battle, but are also lethal to any foe engulfed by them. The toxic fog of a Lord of Poxes is created through viruses contained within the Lords of Poxes' lungs, whose spores are then extracted and mixed with their incubating fluids. This concoction is then turned into a deadly fog by the Miasmic Turbines they wear on their backs. The Lord of Poxes' creations then spread out to seek out victims to infect and ignore the laws of nature to do so. Often how precisely the contagions spread will differ. Some clouds may fall like ash, others will thicken into protoplasmic slime.[2b]
Besides their toxic diseases, a Lord of Poxes also goes into battle with a Great Plague Blade and a Plasma Pistol.[1]
