Murdin

Murdin was a Torathim Astra Militarum Captain, who served in Colonel Tarvit's Regiment.[1]
History
He led its Three Platoon, as the Regiment fought Orks and was accompanied by Commissar Traidir. During the battle, a portion of the Xenos forces attacked the Platoon and inflicted heavy losses upon it. Murdin was among those who were killed, while Traidir was left mortally wounded. As the Orks made ready to attack their position again, the Platoon Whiteshield Yarren saw this as a chance to prove himself and become a Guardsman. However the Whiteshield would need Three Platoon's commanding officer's permission to do so. With Murdin dead, that position fell to the dying Commissar and he agreed to Yarren's request.[1]
