Orac Unleashed
The Orac Unleashed is an Ark of Omen, that is commanded by the Demi-Chaos God Vashtorr and steered by the Abominable Intelligence known as the Orac Myriad.[1]
History
Even by the standards of its kin, the Orac is considered a techno-infernal nightmare and it is fitted with a set of titanic energy-projectors. They jut out like a clawed hand from the Ark of Omen's prow and form the diabolical weapon Vashtorr named the Unmaker. When fired, it unleashes titanic barrages of esoteric energies.[1]
During the Arks of Omen Campaign, the Demi-Chaos God sought to capture a Key-Fragment from the Dark Angels' Fortress Monastery and used the Unmaker to bombard the Rock's Gorgon's Aegis force field until it collapsed. Afterwards, Vashtorr ordered his forces, along with his Black Legion and Word Bearers allies, to invade the Fortress Monastery.[1] The Ark survived the battle and retreated with Vashtorr aboard after the intervention of Be'lakor.[2]
Later during the Battle of Idolatros, Vashtorr utilized the Orac Unleashed and its AI against The Rock. However after assembling the last components of the Dissonance Engine, the Ark of Omen was abandoned by Vashtorr as the Orac Myriad howled in betrayal and despair. The Ark was subsequently destroyed by the Imperial fleet.[3]
