Orac Myriad
Orac Myriad was a hyper-advanced Abominable Intelligence, that steered the Demi-Chaos God Vashtorr's Ark of Omen, Orac Unleashed.[1]
History
Through circumstances unknown, the Orac Myriad first appeared in a Cogitator device used by Ordo Astartes Inquisitor Hallex to locate The Rock. The Inquisitor was unaware of the entity's presence within his own Cogitator as he spied on the Dark Angels.[2]
During the Arks of Omen Campaign, Vashtorr sought to capture a Key-Fragment from the Dark Angels' Fortress Monastery and tasked the Myriad's infinite algorithmic cunning to locate it and plan the perfect ambush. This led to Vashtorr using his powerful abilities to make the Orac Unleashed and the fleets of his Black Legion and Word Bearers allies appear out of the Warp just as the Chapter was coming to the aid of the beleaguered Imperial world Marwent's Reach.[1]
Later during the Battle of Idolatros, Vashtorr utilized the Orac Unleashed and its AI against The Rock. However after assembling the last components of the Dissonance Engine, the Ark of Omen was abandoned by Vashtorr as the Orac Myriad howled in betrayal and despair. The Ark was subsequently destroyed by the Imperial fleet.[3]
