Overview
Otranti is orange, and was once likened by Alpha Primus to an apricot. The planet is surrounded by debris fields due to the impact of an asteroid into one of its moons, held in a decaying orbital track. Hidden amongst the debris was the Inquisitorial station.[1]
History
The Inquisitorial prison-fortress housed many Xenos prisoners, but grew derelict as the Ordo Xenos could not commission repairs without exposing the existence of the station. Most of the Xenos died from neglect, leaving a powerful psychic imprint of despair.[1]
The prison-fortress was briefly used by Inquisitor Cehen-qui to hold an Aeldari prisoner. Belisarius Cawl requested that the Inquisitor give up custody of the Aeldari, knowing that Cehen-qui would never willingly do so. In reality, Cawl's real target was a Necron Cryptek in a stasis casket imprisoned there without Cehen-qui's knowledge.[1]
After pushing the station out of orbit with the 0-101-0 and disabling its sensors, Qvo-87 deployed Alpha Primus to the station on a stealth mission to steal the Cryptek and teleport them both to the 0-101-0. Meanwhile, Cehen-qui evacuated the station with the Aeldari aboard the Inquisitorial cutter Ruptor Xenorum.[1]
