Saturnalia Princeps Carthagina was a member of the Adeptus Custodes during the Horus Heresy.[1a]

Stationed on Terra like most Custodes, he was the one who arrested Astropath Kai Zulane because he possessed information relative to the safety of the Emperor of Mankind.[1b] He then supervised the interrogation conducted by neurolocutors Hiriko and Scharff.[1c] When the Outcast Dead broke out of Khangba Marwu with Zulane, he was part of the taskforce led by Yasu Nagasena to apprehend the escapees.[1d] During the confrontation at the Temple of Woe, Saturnalia was killed by the World Eaters legionary Asubha after killing his twin Subha.[1e]
