'''Gheer''' was a member of the [[World Eaters|War Hounds]] (later known as the '''World Eaters''') during the [[Great Crusade]]. {{Fn|1}}{{Fn|2}} Serving as the [[Legion Commander|commander ]] of the [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]] before the rediscovery of [[Angron]], Gheer was one of the first to try and calm their [[Primarch]] down after he was inconsolable from his teleporation teleportation onto the ''[[Conqueror (Ship)|Conqueror]]'' by the [[Emperor of Mankind|Emperor]] during his last stand with his slave soldiers on [[Nuceria]]. Gheer was killed by the maddened Primarch, the first of several Legion officers to die by their own Primarch's hands that day.{{Fn|1}}{{Fn|2}}
