Serving as the [[Legion CommanderMaster|commander]] of the [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]] before the rediscovery of [[Angron]], Gheer was one of the first to try and calm their [[Primarch]] down after he was inconsolable from his teleportation onto the ''[[Conqueror (Ship)|Conqueror]]'' by the [[Emperor of Mankind|Emperor]] during his last stand with his slave soldiers on [[Nuceria]].
