Tyramite
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Tyramites are large tick-like insects found in Necromunda's Hive Secundus which have become mutated by feeding on dead bodies found there.[1]
Malstrain Thralls
Hive Secundus is also home to the Malstrain Genestealers, who infect Tyramites in order to bulk up the forces their Broodmind can command. This is only done in desperation due to the Malstrains' own corruption and isolation within Hive Secundus, as healthier Broodminds would not bother doing so.[1]
