Urdeshi Storm Troop^[2]

The Urdeshi Regiments are Imperial Guard Regiments raised on the Forge World of Urdesh in the Sabbat Worlds.^[1a]

Overview

As a heavily militarized forge world, Urdesh has a legacy of producing fine soldiers who are known to be highly trained and disciplined. The infantry regiments are first—rate, and their efforts in theatres across the Sabbat Worlds Crusade throughout the campaign are celebrated. The elite storm troops are the most highly regarded of all.^[2]

Urdesh was conquered by the forces of Chaos during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade. As a result, the Urdeshi regiments deployed in the Crusade were particularly motivated to liberate their homeworld, although they were also deployed in other theatres across the campaign.^[1a]

By 771.M41 there were at least eight Urdeshi regiments active in the Sabbat Crusade. They were considered to be excellent shock troops.^[1a]

Equipment

The lasguns used by Urdeshi Guardsmen make use of size five ammo clips.^[1b] Their Storm Troops are known to utilize Bolt Pistols and Flechette Blasters.^[2]
