Viskus
Viskus is the House Griffith Bondsman of the Dragonsplice Lance's commander, Lord Oderik Griffith. He and Oderik's other Bondswoman Lhya, serve as the lance's Quarry Dogs.[1]
History
The lance is among the Imperium's forces that are defending the Imperial world Fortress 23-Alphus from a Tyranid invasion. During the course of the battle, the Dragonsplice began hunting down a Winged Hive Tyrant that had massacred hundreds of Imperial forces. Among the slain, was the world's Imperial Commander and Oderik vowed to her, that the Dragonsplice would kill the beast. He charged his Quarry Hounds with tracking the Hive Tyrant down and Viskus and Lhya went ahead of the rest of the Lance. Three cycles later, the Hounds voxed back that the Hive Tyrant's trail led to a canyon. Contact was lost with the two afterwards, but the Dragonsplice were able to find the canyon the Hounds had described. Once they reached it, the lance found no trace of the Quarry Hounds, but Oderik swore to find the two after the Dragonsplice's hunt was over. The lance then entered the canyon and found the Winged Hive Tyrant and the swarm it commanded.[1]
