Voidships are large vessels designed to travel in the void that is deep space. Many are several kilometers in length, and those that aren't still tend to be massive in size. Some voidships are capable of warp travel.[1] Great voidships will often have grav-plates lining their decks.[2]
The average Imperial will never set foot on one of these interstellar craft. Only those with significant wealth can hope to consider it. Interstellar travel is extremely uncommon even for these individuals. In all other cases, only someone serving an Imperial-recognised need will be allowed aboard.[3]
