Voldire
Voldire was a Heretek Tech-Priest of the Dark Mechanicus and follower of Vashtorr.[1a]
In M42, Voldire took command of the Space Hulk Grim Destiny and invaded the Forge World of Diamantus.[1a] He hoped to corrupt the planet through a ritual and create a Warp bridge directly to the Forge of Souls, an act that would have seen Vashtorr reward him with Daemonhood.[1b]
However, Voldire's plans were disrupted by the Carcharodons 3rd Company led by Chief Librarian Te Kahurangi and former Reaper Prime Bail Sharr. During the final battle inside his flesh-citadel, Voldire's true form was revealed to be a massive oversized brain. He was killed before the ritual could be completed when Bail Sharr plunged his Chainaxe Reaper into the brain just as Te and the Librarian Khauri weakened his power.[1c]
