Apophisatt
The Apophisatt was the designation given to a Hold Ship of the Kin by the Necron. It had conducted several raids on Necron shipping vessels. The master of this great voidship is the Ironkin named Eynr the Obdurate, also known as Heavy-Left-Foot.[1]
Overview
It is an ultra-heavy void-born refinery and factory ship, seemingly adapted for capture operations in hazardous environments, such as inside of stars. Known to raid dynastic shipping of the Thokt Dynasty vessels. Among its noted appearances in the Thokt Dynastic Ledger of Trespass, the Apophisatt is believed to have been behind the foundering of Strong Yoht, an accretion-skimmer.[1]
The Apophisatt would ambush the Thokt Dynasty ship known as the One Million Years while it was within a nameless blue star, on a standard harvesting dive. The piratical Kin had not expected a tough target and both would come close to their end. The Apophisatt would send a single emissary, their voidship master Eynr the Obdurate, to attempt to parlay with the Necron ship's apparent leader, Prae the Unyielding. The Ironkin would offer half the contents of their hold, metallic hypermatter, mostly in crystal-sealed ingots, in exchange for allowing the two foes to go their separate ways without further incident. Eynr's offer would be declined and the faceless being was swiftly killed by the cryptek.[1]
After the death of Enyr, Apophisatt would attempt the retreat but be shot with a lance in the midst of its attempted route.[1]
