The Thokt Dynasty is a Necron Dynasty, whose crownworld is Meghoshta, "The Cradle of War".[1] The territory of the Thokt Dynasty is located in Segmentum Pacificus.[2a]

Overview
The Thokt Dynasty's coreworlds are located within the Hyrakii Deeps, a region of space within Segmentum Pacificus filled with radiation-emitting void rifts. The dynasty's Crypteks have learnt to harness this radiation to power the dynasty's weapons and soldiery, both of which can be seen to emit an eerie blow glow as a result.[2a] This energy is not only limitless but surrounds their warriors on the battlefield, causing their enemies to sicken and die.[3]
History
In 748.M41 the Thokt Dynasty Tomb World of Salax awoke, overrunning the Mechanicum workers and initiating a two hundred year war with the Tome Keepers Space Marines.[4]
In 994.M41, the dynasty's fringe worlds were invaded by the Orks of Waaagh! Bludtoof. Entire worlds were turned into killing fields in order to grind down the Orks in a war of attrition.[2c]
In the Age of the Dark Imperium, the Thokt supported the Szarekhan Dynasty in the War in the Pariah Nexus, with an armada led by Phaeron Nektarrik invading the Imperial Lomorr System. She allowed a coterie of Technomandrites to unleash horrifying weaponry on the defenders of the planet Torantis, with the system's Adeptus Mechanicus defenders retaliating with their own ancient and terrible weaponry. The unexpected clash of energies between a shard of the C'tan Iash'Uddra and a mysterious weapon unleashed by Manipulus-Prime Behzt resulted in billions of deaths on both sides, the destruction of a third of Torantis and the destabilisation of the planet's orbit.[6]
Leagues of Votann Kin have been known to have conducted multiple small pirate raids on vulnerable Thokt Dynasty vessels in the Era Indomitus.[7]
Heraldry
The dynasty's symbol is derived from the position in the sky of the Hyrakii Deep's stars relative to the crownworld of Meghoshta.[2a]
