Hekateus IV is a newly-founded Forge World of the Adeptus Mechanicus and Necron Tomb World, known to the latter species as Qivroth.[1]
Overview
The Hekataean Omnisynod would begin the inception stages of founding this new Forge World. Similar to the destroyed Necron world, Silva Tenebris, this world houses a variety of Necron tombs.[1]
Prime Hermeticon Saepion of the Omnisynod would task Tech-Acquisitor Scaevola to explore and catalogue any xenos artefacts on the world. Scaevola would readily begin exploring the Necron tombs made accessible by apparent seismic activity. Their incursion delved into the tomb of Nefershah, Vargard to the Phaeron Sankhotep, and her tomb complex was beginning to awaken. Enginseer Deovos would fall to the Vargard as the Necron sought out her cryptek advisor Kynox. The cyborg intruders would ultimately be defeated by Nefershah and route the beaten Scaevola, who ordered her subordinates to swarm the powerful Necron as she made her escape from the underground complex.[1]
Nefershah would subsequently awaken her Phaeron, Sankhotep, and Scaevola would send out a call for interstellar aid.[1]
