Hrothvyr Runescar is the Wolf Lord of the Space Wolves Chapter's Runemarked Great Company.^[1a]

History

He was originally part of the Wolf Lord Sven Bloodhowl's Wolf Guard, until Bloodhowl went missing aboard the Will of Eternity, during the 13th Black Crusade. With Bloodhowl's fate uncertain, Runescar was chosen to succeed him and chose the Rune Wolf as a sigil. The new Wolf Lord then renamed the Firehowlers as the Runemarked.^[1b]
