Jeremet Lyterix
Jeremet Lyterix is a magos of Gryphonne IV and an augur, a rare magos of the Logi order who bent their efforts towards mapping the immaterium. While most magos are with derision from their peers for committing themselves to such an inexact field, Magos Lyterix revelled in it.[1a]
Overview
Lyterix retains an unusually high proportion of his organic components for an adept of his rank. All four of his limbs had been replaced with finely crafted augmetics, but otherwise he displayed few overt modifications to his physical form. Even with a vocaliser embedded in his throat to emit the various dialects of Mechanicus speech, the magos could have passed for a severely repaired Astra Militarum veteran. Silver hair was the only physical marker of Lyterix’s age, which was kept at bay with rejuvenat treatments like some kind of vain hive world noble.[1a]
Lyterix had a deeper understanding than most of the nature of the warp, but that knowledge brought him no comfort. Indeed, it heightened his fears. He is neither able to work nor rest while within the warp due to this.[1c]

Magos Lyterix would remain aboard the Gryphonnen Diaspora fleet's vessels after the fall of Gryphonne IV. During this time he would aid Explorator Sherax who humbly begged for his aid as a skilled Augur of the Logis. He had agreed primarily to test a new methodology for augury, rather than out of any sincere interest or expectation that Sherax’s search would meet with success.[1b] Sherax was pursuing a lost Gryphonnen explorator vessel, the Almagest, wrecked inside a space hulk known as Misery's Daughter. Magos Lyterix was able to determine an approximate location and time of when the space hulk would next emerge from the Warp and his calculations were accurate to 2.46 astronomical units.[1a]
Almost a almost a year after requesting his aid,[1b] Sherax returned from the space hulk expedition successful. Upon her return to the Forge World Tolkhan, where the diaspora fleet had been docked for some years, she met with the two magos who had assisted her in this mission. She would share the entirety of her recorded experiences of the mission in the space hulk with Lord Explorator Yuel and Lyterax. Sherax's former mentor, Lord Explorator Yuel, regarded the this unknown technology with a high degree of caution. Lyterix, however, was immediately intrigued by the potential this Genesis device promised. He had unspoken suspicions it was xenos tech, but that didn't deter him. The two would join Sherax aboard her vessel, the Peregrinus and inspect the device. Both magos had offered to sponsor Sherax when she would later present these findings to the Gryphonnen Synod.[1b]
