Lhykhis, the Whispering Web, is an Eldar Phoenix Lord and the founder of the Warp Spider Aspect.[2]
History
Lhykhis was one point, considered dormant for she had been absent for so long that even the Eldar believed her lost.[3] More recently, however, Lhykhis has returned, becoming one of the more active Phoenix Lords, travelling far and wide in defense of the Asuryani and leading her Warp Spiders to battle wherever eldar lives are threatened. Operating in this way, Lhykhis most commonly appears swiftly, braving long leaps through the warp to deliver maximum damage before dissapearing to the next field of battle.[1] For this reason, Lhykhis has been rarely recorded leading many Imperial scholars to consider her apocryphal.[3]
She embodies the Eldar god Khaine's willingness to risk everything for victory and is considered to be a daredevil, even amongst her fellow Phoenix Lords.[1] A master of the combat style of her Aspect, she specializes in ambushes and swift, sudden assaults.[3] Despite the dangers of these attacks, Lhykhis is known for repeatedly plunging into the Warp without fear and uses her keen eye for navigation to go farther and more accurately than even the most ancient Warp Spider Exarchs When the Eldar need her, though, Lhykhis emerges from the Warp to save them from doom.[3]
Equipment
Lhykhis wears a unique four-armed Aspect Armour to which are mounted twin monofilament injectors (akin to a Harlequin's Kiss) dubbed the Spider's Fangs, twin Death Spinners known as Brood Twain, and the sword Vhattarkan known as the Weaverender which crackles with energy and can slice through the fabric of reality itself.[1]
