Orr
Por'vre T'olku Orr'es, simply known as Orr, is a member of the Tau Water caste and operative of Information Awareness' Hundred Eyes unit.[1a]
History
A veteran intelligence examiner who works out of the Thapes Quo Operating Base, he resents younger, more successful, more optimistic members of his unit such as J'Kaara, who gained fame for the initial conquest of Cao Quo. When communications fail due to Human rebel attacks on Cao Quo, Orr makes his way to a communications outpost.[1a] Orr is one of the survivors when the communications post is attacked, alongside Earth Caste engineer Ke, Water Caste operative Orr, and the Fireblade Swordlight.[1b] After an evacuation back to Thapes Quo Operating base, the Ethereal Aun'ui Yor'i reveals that to rescue the missing Ethereal Aun'ui Kir'qath, an Elemental Council would be formed with Orr, Ke, Swordlight, Sei, and the Human Gue'vesa agent Jules Rare.[1c]
During their subsequent mission, Orr grows close to most of the squad as they unravel a conspiracy involving the mysterious Syra group that spreads to the highest levels of Tau command which the rescued Kir'qath had discovered. In the final battle at the Cao Quo floating forward operating base, Orr finally realizes that the one behind the Syra is none other than Yor'i, but that he had been replaced by an Imperial Callidus Assassin. Orr is killed by the assassin just moments after discovering the truth.[1d]
