ShoShonai was a member of Inquisitor Cehen-qui’s retinue who possessed psychic powers.^[1]

Overview

Due to her Psychic abilities, ShoShonai was enslaved by Cehen-qui using a parasitic psychic Xenos creature that attached to her head. The sentient squid-like Xenos was the last of its species, and its control caused ShoShonai to have an irregular double voice.^[1]

Biography

As Belisarius Cawl’s forces rammed the 0-101-0 into the Inquisitorial prison-fortress above Otranti, Cehen-qui escaped with his retinue and an aeldari prisoner aboard an Inquisitorial cutter. However, ShoShonai had detected Alpha Primus, who was aboard the ship secretly looking for the Cryptek AsanethAyu. Upon confronting him, it became apparent that the Xenos creature was in control of ShoShonai, wishing to end its own suffering through death. As the Xenos was separated from her, ShoShonai tried to fight Alpha Primus, but was killed effortlessly.^[1]

Appearance

ShoShonai hid under a dark cowl, hiding the Xenos creature that was attached to her head. She wore a dark undersuit, and the flesh around her face was emaciated as a result of the Xenos.^[1]
