Corsair Skyreaver
Corsair Skyreavers, sometimes known as Razorwing Squads[4b] or Maelstrom Squads,[4a] are the winged Jump Pack-equiped shock troopers of the Aeldari Corsairs which descend upon the battlefield from above.[1]

Overview
Skyreavers are often the vanguard of the Eldar Corsairs,[6] engaging the enemy before other troops arrive launching into combat from the open ramps of an airborne Vampire Raider[1] or other transport, plummeting into battle weapons blazing screaming battle cries as they leap across rooftops and fortifications, into the decks of voidships, and over the yawning chasms of Space Hulks.[6]
Skyreavers wield an array of weapons, from Power Swords to barbed Raiding Hooks, Shuriken Pistols, Monofilament Projectors and Fusion Weapons – no two Skyreaver bands are equipped the same.[6] Skyreavers are often led by either a Corsair Prince or a Corsair Felarch[1][2] sporting yet more esoteric firearms[6] and may be accompanied by squads of Eldar Rangers or Support Weapon Batteries.[1] Skyreavers employ a disorienting fire-and-fade technique dazzling foes in a blizzard of cuts and blasts.[6]

Trivia
The Rogue Trader army book The Book of the Astronomican (1988) included several flight pack corsair squads: among the Eldritch Raiders, the more generic Serpent Squads could be fielded as Razorwing Squads,[4b] the mercenary Eldar Lightning Squads among Crangor's Buccaneers could be fielded as Maelstrom Squads.[4a]
Skyreavers Jump Packs bear visual similarity to those of the Swooping Hawks in Codex Titanicus (1st Edition) (1989), a more generic infantry precursor to the Aspect Warriors with which they share their name.[5]
